Here at MediationMK we understand that the process of separation and divorce can be stressful and emotionally draining. It can take its toll on all areas of life—at home, socially, professionally, physically and mentally.
As well as affecting your health and wellbeing, the feelings of sadness, loss and uncertainty for the future can be as intense as experiencing a bereavement. For some it can seem difficult to stay connected and not lose your sense of identity.
We recognise the importance of supporting you through these difficult experiences and for these reasons we now offer counselling as part of our ongoing commitment to our clients.
(Please note these sessions are not marriage guidance or mediation sessions.)
The counselling we currently offer is for individual adults, and the approach we practice is Person Centred Counselling. This approach values your thoughts, beliefs and ability to make your own decisions. We believe that only you can know what is really right for you.
At MediationMK we can offer you a safe, confidential space where you can explore your feelings, talk freely and feel heard without judgement or unwanted advice.
During our sessions we will explore the issues you are experiencing to enable you to reflect on them and help you to see things more clearly. Our aim is for you to feel less anxious and more relaxed—to improve your sense of well-being and to see a clearer road ahead. Our qualified counsellors are registered members of the BACP and adhere to their ethical framework.
